So yes, I´m here
Arrived in Leon around 2 today, got to SMA just before 6. Interesting ride from the airport. In my van were a musician from Nashville who recently toured w. Faith Hill, a couple who live down here and just helped organize a road race for charity, a guy whose wedding was deemed a cultural event in Mexico so he could bring in Toots and the Maytalls to play it, and a woman who used to work with Don Henley.
Turns out tomorrow is a holiday so class doesn´t start til Tuesday. Which is ok because i think my host said that there´s a parade at 11 tonight. Or was that 1 a.m.? Or 11 tomorrow morning.
All equally possible.

Sounds like an interesting mix of people in the van. What was the conversation like on your ride into San Miguel? What's the weather like over there, and are there a lot of tourists, or is it low season?
